Dr. James Pavlatos, DDS, DICOI, AFAAID, FASO, BAS

Dr. James Pavlatos is a graduate of Loyola University School of Dentistry. He maintains a private practice in Palos Heights, Illinois. He has 25 years experience in the field of surgical and prosthetic implant dentistry, and has lectured locally, nationally, and internationally.

He is a Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and a Diplomat of the American Society of Ossointegration, Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Fellow member of the Illinois State Dental Society, Former Trustee of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry-Central District, Past President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Central District, President of the Illinois Implant Study Club, Former Faculty-Loyola School of Dentistry an a Member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

He also has completed a 5 part series for the Chicago Dental Society "Diagnosis and Treatment Planning for Placing, Restoring, and Maintaining Dental Implants." In addition, he has authored the following articles "Implant Supported Overdentures", "Root Supported Overdentures" and "Root Supported Overdentures Using the Locator Overdenture Attachment." Dr. Pavlatos’ articles have been published in the USA, Canada, and Europe.

Dr. Pavlatos is presently, or has been on staff at the following institutions: Suburban Hospital, Hinsdale, Illinois; Midwest Surgicenter UIC, Palos Heights, Illinois; Oakbrook Surgicenter, Oakbrook, Illinois; Watertower Surgical Center, Chicago, Illinois and Ingall’s Surgical Center, Tinley Park, Illinois.
