High Performance Polymer & Lithium Disilicate: Replacing Nature with Natural Aesthetic

Alexander Wuensche, CDT, will guide course participants through a case fabricated with a high performance polymer framework, GC Initial® LiSi Press crowns and finished with composite pink. High Performance Polymers are getting more and more important as a restorative material for full mouth or just partial edentulous cases. The similarity to natural bone and capability to combine with ceramics and composites makes this material so important for the dental industry. Alexander will discuss design options, fabricating the high performance polymer frame and ingot selection. During the hands-on portion of the course, all participants are going to work on a case in finishing the porcelain work, bonding the crowns to the frame work and finishing with composite the pink aesthetic. Course participants will learn about the critical steps in surface treatment and combination of the best materials to use.
