Frequently Asked Questions

Is G-CEM fine with ceramic blocks involving Cerec? 
G-Cem is fine. Some ceramics may benefit by using ceramic primer (silane). No bonding agent is required.  The issue in the past has been contaminated surface of the touch as well as the milled ceramic.  The dental profession must insure that all surfaces are clean and free of residue.

Is G-CEM compatible with Maryland Bridges or Veneers? 
A Maryland Bridge would be okay to use with G-Cem; a veneer would not.

May G-CEM be used in moist field?
G-CEM works in both wet and dry environments.

Do you need to etch? 
G-CEM is a one-step application

What is the waiting time prior to light curing and initial cement removal?  
Follow the procedure laid out in the brochure: tack cure 2-4 seconds, clean-up excess and then complete the cure.

What is the waiting time for the patient to function on the restoration?
Regarding time to discharge, follow the Instructions for Use: light cure for 20 seconds with four minutes of undisturbed time for this.
